Digital accessibility is not a luxury. It is a prerequisite for equal participation.
As part of the 12th International Conference for the Promotion of Educational Innovation, organised by EEPEK, we had the pleasure of delivering the online workshop “Improving the Accessibility of School Websites”. We explored practical ways to make school websites more usable and accessible to everyone, taking into account the diverse needs of their users. Web accessibility is not just about technology or compliance with standards; it is about ensuring that everyone has equal access to information and digital services. Many thanks to everyone who joined the workshop and contributed through their questions, ideas and experiences. Every step towards a more accessible web is a step towards a more inclusive education system.

Στο πλαίσιο του 12ου Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου για την Προώθηση της Εκπαιδευτικής Καινοτομίας της ΕΕΠΕΚ, είχαμε τη χαρά να υλοποιήσω το διαδικτυακό workshop «Βελτίωση Προσβασιμότητας ιστοσελίδων Σχολικών Μονάδων». Συζητήσαμε πρακτικούς τρόπους με τους οποίους οι σχολικές ιστοσελίδες μπορούν να γίνουν πιο εύχρηστες και προσβάσιμες για όλους, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις διαφορετικές ανάγκες των χρηστών. Η προσβασιμότητα στον Ιστό δεν αφορά μόνο την τεχνολογία ή τη συμμόρφωση με πρότυπα· αφορά το δικαίωμα κάθε ανθρώπου να έχει ισότιμη πρόσβαση στην πληροφορία και στις ψηφιακές υπηρεσίες. Ευχαριστώ όλους όσοι συμμετείχαν και συνέβαλαν με τις ιδέες και τις ερωτήσεις τους!
