VETVRKit Virtual Meeting Recap
On April 20th, the virtual event that connects VET Trainers with VR Companies, for the VETVRkit Erasmus+ project was conducted. During the meeting, plenty of VR Trainers, from Greece, Spain, Croatia, Lithuania and Denmark, that are interested in including VR tools in their classes, discussed that subject.
During the meeting, which can be viewed here (facebook page of the project) or in our youtube channel, the purpose of the project was presented and the consortium was introduced. Also, companies that create services related to VR in education, presented themselves and their products.
More specifically, Mrs Audra Savickiene, a Mentor and Researcher at Mpro, talked about some EU Funded VR Projects. Mpro is an NGO based in Lithuania actively involved in EdTech, especially in VR.

Then, Mr Mario Mikić Vučak, from Culex, a company from Croatia, talked about their specialized studio focused on development and production of unique virtual experiences and interactive cinematic 360° video content. Their projects thrive towards innovation, process optimization and new trend creation.

After that, Vr academy, Greece’s No #1 Augmented Communications Provider was represented by Mr Konstantinos Lymperopoulos, and explained their vision, which is to assist Greek SMEs and Educational Institutions to respond to digital challenges, improve their digital capabilities, and add value to the bottom line.


Then it was the turn of another company from Greece, ThefutureCats, a team of experts in transforming messaging into immersive experiences through VR and the Metaverses. Mr Dimitris Dimitriadis shared some insights that they have gained as an innovative digital marketing agency, based in Athens and Thessaloniki. They specialize in cutting-edge technologies such as XR, AR, VR and the Metaverse to provide a comprehensive range of services to their clients.

It was time for a hands-on demonstration. LudusXR, a games and simulations development company based in Denmark, specializing in EU projects and developing learning and educational content for all sectors, were represented by. Mrs Ditte Koustruo, as a project manager of the team, talked about their projects, and there was a live demonstration of an Erasmus+ Project called “WorkVR”.


Techmakers, a company from Spain was next. Techmakers is a company specialized in Virtual Reality for education and Educational Metaverse, with a lot of experience in implementing VR projects and training for teachers. Mr José Antonio García Ruiz presented their educational consultancy, focused on the digital transformation process of schools, teachers and students. He talked about the creation of Classrooms of the Future and Entrepreneurship Classrooms for public, charter and public schools.

Finally, Mrs Andrea Maksimovic, a representative from STUDIUM, Croatia, discussed a EU funded project, called STEP-UP.

As a conclusion, a discussion with the audience came next. Also, there was an invitation to the viewers to join the facebook community that is being created during this project, and the next steps were announced.
Through the whole process, the audience could ask their interesting questions, which the guests answered.
