Position: Proposal Writer for Erasmus+ Projects | Part time for the first months
Location: Remote (Region of Thessaly will be preferred),

Prosvation, a Greek NGO focused on bridging the gap between research and markets, is seeking a Proposal Writer for Erasmus+ Projects to join our team. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for developing high-quality grant proposals for Prosvation’s various Erasmus+ initiatives. Among with the salary a laptop will be provided.
Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify appropriate grant opportunities within the Erasmus+ program (mostly for key actions 210 and 220).
  • Develop and write compelling grant proposals, in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders, that effectively communicate Prosvation’s mission, goals, and proposed activities.
  • Ensure proposals comply with Erasmus+ guidelines and requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant staff to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for proposals.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines for proposal submission and follow-up.
  • Participate in project planning and development, as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and changes in grant-making priorities.

Requirements:

  • (Optional) Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as grant writing, communications, or business.
  • (Considered as a plus) Experience in grant writing or proposal development, preferably in the Erasmus+ program or other European funding programs.
  • (Important) Familiarity with Agile Methodology and similar frameworks
  • (Considered as a plus) Experience in European-funded programs implementation and execution.
  • (Crucial) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely (Greek and English).
  • (Important) Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize relevant information from multiple sources.
  • (Important) Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • (Important) Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure proposals meet all necessary guidelines and requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software/tools.
  • Willingness to travel once or twice per year

Hiring Process

STEP 1 (beginning of May): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, and the rest will be informed via email.
STEP 2 (end of June): The final 2-3 candidates will need to participate in a weekly team meeting (different for each) and then have a discussion with management to consider the possibility of working with the team.
STEP 3 (optional): We will check the contacts from previous job positions provided by the final candidate to make the final decision.
FINAL STEP: Hiring will start on the 1st of July
